The Goodhue County Historical Society is seeking a dynamic and energetic leader to serve as Executive Director.  The Executive Director is the public face of the Goodhue County Historical Society.  The Executive Director conducts the affairs of the Society, implements the policies and plans adopted by its Board of Directors, and provides strategic and operational leadership for the organization as a whole.  The Executive Director is charged with developing and maintaining the long-term sustainability and building on the Society’s record of accomplishment in all its programs.

This is a full-time permanent exempt position.  The salary range for this position is $48,000 to $53,000, dependent on qualifications.  Benefits for this position include holiday pay, Paid Time Off (PTO), long term disability insurance coverage, short term disability insurance coverage, and a life insurance policy equal to one year of salary.  Interested applicants must submit a cover letter, resume, and three letters of recommendation to the Search Committee by 5 PM on Friday, March 2, 2018.  Applications may be submitted by mail or email to the following:
